It entails the use of the right amount of premium 120 tpi body ply, refined, race-proven, often dual compounds, high-tensile aramid beads, elaborate apex sidewall reinforcement, special bead-to-bead fabric protection, dual-ply, and tubeless readiness. The e-Ready tires add highly elastic under-tread puncture protection. All the above are only as needed and applicable. We keep it simple. The Pro means Pro. • Tubeless

The tubeless tire casing features specially shaped beads, ensuring sealed rim seating. Unlike passenger or truck tires, bicycle tubeless tires don’t have the inner liner providing the ultimate airtightness. They become tubeless when a sensible volume of tire sealant is applied. For best results, use Zleen Seal Pro tubeless tire sealant. For tube-type rims, add rim tape, and don’t forget about premium quality tubeless valves. 

• APEX

Apex is the near–rim tiny sidewall component standing behind the bead—sidewall reinforcement protecting the tire from snake bites, rim flange, and rock impact damage. This bead reinforcing wedge adds extra material, transferring the flexible area higher up the sidewall, guarding it against hits by rocks pounding hard full load when flying down the steep drops and on downhill trails.

Bead–to–bead impact damage protection providing extra shield across the whole tire envelope 

• Aramid Bead

The flexible high-tensile advanced polyamide fiber (aramid) bead not only make the tires foldable but also lightweight. Combined with the bead shape it enables the tubeless performance.

Race performance 57 ShA centerline Pro dedicated compound complemented by 47 ShA super soft sticky DH shoulder compound providing extra confidence at loose and rocky trail sections

• 120 TPI

120 treads per inch equals to nearly 5,000 threads per 1 meter of the tire body ply fabric, the key load carrying component of the tire casing. The finer the fabric the better steering response and grip due to its high flexibility quickly adjusting to the rugged surface at cornering and braking. The 120 tpi casing equally ensures the best grip at acceleration and low inclines.
